Who can rent from Hire Laptops?
We provide IT Hardware and Software solutions to every kind of business conducting Seminars, Conferences, Product Launches, Exhibitions & Live Events. We also provide our rental services to education sectors.
What information do you require to provide a quotation?
In order to provide an accurate quotation we require the following:
• Your details – Name, company, e-mail, telephone number
• Equipment requirements – Details of the items you require, quantities etc.
• Rental term – How long do you require the equipment?
• Delivery – Where do you require it?
Based on this we should be able to provide an accurate costing for your requirements including delivery and collection costs.
What IT equipment can I rent?
At Hire Laptops we supply a wide range of hardware which includes: Windows Laptops, MacBook Pro, Apple iPad, Apple iMac and Tablets.
What if I need additional software?
Our team will customize the hardware according to your need before delivering it to you. You need to mention the specification and software details while placing the order.
Can I install my own software?
Yes, if you rent a computer from us, you can of course install your own software. You do not have to return the devices to the original state as far as the software is concerned.
How are the devices delivered?
We ship the equipment to the particular address you specify. You can also pick up the rental equipment in person (working days from 9 am to 6 pm).
What happens to my data after the end of the rental period?
All equipment returning from the rental will go through our return procedure. There they are cleaned and checked. Your data will be deleted during the return process.
How is the rent counted?
We usually count the rent on the basis of days rather than hours as it becomes quite complex. The rent will start from the moment our device reaches your end and will continue until the time we have received the devices back at our office premises. However, you must keep all proofs of postage so that in case of delays, you can let us know.
What happens if the device gets stolen or broken?
We will charge you for the price of replacement or a new device. It is requested to let us know immediately in case of loss or stolen so that we can take the necessary steps in time. In case of minor tear and wear, the devices are acceptable without any fuss.
Can I take the devices abroad?
Usually we do not support this idea but for some companies that have regular meetings and events outside the UK, it is possible. That depends on case to case basis. You need to mention the same while submitting your requirements. You essentially need to take insurance in such cases as most devices taken abroad are broken or stolen.
If I need to cancel my order?
Cancellations requested 48 hours before delivery will incur a charge equal to 50% of the total rental cost.
Cancellations requested within 48 hours of delivery will incur a charge equal to the full cost of rental.
